Interpersonal relationships can lift us up or pull us down—sometimes bringing joy, other times, discomfort.

When we feel uncomfortable in a relationship
—with anyone—
we seek safety, usually by withdrawing, appeasing, or getting defensive.

How we “do relationship” results from beliefs around who we have to be
to deserve love and connection
.

But—

What if you could be your true Self, and deeply know that
YOU,
in all your messy humanity,
absolutely deserve love and connection?

Group work offers self-transformation through the power of relationship. It facilitates self-witnessing in habitual relationship dynamics, recognition of the source of these patterns, and tools for transforming relational dynamics that no longer serve.

How you
“do relationship”
is a map
to the internal experience
of yourself.

All about Group…

Real talk between Kellie, Core Energetics group facilitator, and Jeremy, former group participant, in this episode of The Fit Mess Podcast. A great listen for those needing more information about what to expect from the group experience.

“We can’t do it alone…we are not capable of healing in isolation. We need other people…we are hurt in relationship and we heal in relationship”

Dr. Diane Poole Heller The Power of Attachment: How to Create deep and Lasting Intimate Relationships

“Group with Kellie deeply expanded my understanding of what it means to be in authentic relation to others, while also staying in relation to myself. I've grown a new understanding of what it means to be truly human, mess and all.”

Details

So how does group work, exactly?

In group there is time for movement, time for dyad (2 people) or triad (3 people) work, time for work in the larger group, and time for closure. The group of peers creates a safe and supportive space in which participants can help each other, and learn more about themselves in relationship to each other. The facilitator creates the general structure for the process, guiding activities and proposing interventions intended to support participants in making their own connections about how they get in their own way.

Saturdays 9:30am - 3pm

11/2/24 • 12/7/24 • 1/11/25 • 2/8/25 •
3/8/25 • 4/5/25 • 5/10/25 • 6/7/25

Enrollment in Group includes

• Eight private 1:1 sessions with Kellie
An important part of group work in that it provides an opportunity for understanding and integration needed for locking-in new awareness, as well as space for personal deep dives into whatever didn’t get addressed in group work. Each 1:1 session must take place within 4-6 weeks after each group meeting and prior to the next.
Note: if you are already regularly working with a somatic practitioner/coach, enquire about waiving this requirement.

• Group Marco Polo
The group Marco Polo chat will be used to deliver some fundamental concepts, and can also serve as a way for group members to check in with each other.

Dedicated Group Google group
Don’t like communicating via video? The google group can provide another opportunity for connection.

Covered, private and heated outdoor group space in a beautiful retreat-like setting

 Outside? In Seattle?!

If there’s been an upside to the pandemic, it’s been the resulting discovery that being outdoors not only solves a lot of virus transmission issues, but that it also fosters aliveness and vitality in people. The group space is under a beautiful sheltered pavilion that keeps people dry during any precipitation. Heaters and a natural gas fire bowl help provide warmth from the chill. The fresh air oxygenates and enlivens the experience, and a waterfall provides sound privacy. We will move, use our voices, and dance. Doing all of this outdoors is such a glorious treat when so much of our lives during the Fall, Winter, and Spring are spent indoors in the PNW.

I loved being outside – it allowed us to feel the energy of beautiful outdoor space: birds, plants, wind chimes gently knocking, the fire, the feeling of the stones beneath our feet. For me, the space felt like another “being” in our group.

“If you’re reading this, you’re probably ready to dive in... If there’s even the tiniest spark of desire within you, to take off the mask, to release from the weight of shame or unburden yourself of the fear you carry that somehow, you’re not good enough or right enough, (Group) is for you. I came to Kellie after years of grief and trauma and didn’t know what else to do. (Group) helped me understand we aren’t just our minds or our bodies or our spirits or our hearts: we are all of it. And to address the deepest parts of ourselves, in relationship with other people, is to dive into what it means to take off our masks and experience the messiness of humanness. Kellie is masterful. I would say she’s a magician but that would disregard all the work that Kellie does, in individual and group sessions, to create a grounded, safe, mystical, loving and joyful space for you. You are worth this. Believe me”
